I have lived in Valley Center for 30+ years; my parents moved here 20 years before that. Since that time, I worked for USD 262 as the Clerk of the Board/Superintendent's Assistant until 2007. I was elected to the City Council in 2015. In connection with that position I am a member of the Sedgwick County Local Emergency Planning Committee; I am Secretary/Treasurer of the Sedgwick County Association of Cities; and Main Street Valley Center
